Scenario 2. Application with a connection to a data source

When you are connected, the application checks if the open file corresponds with the data source opened. If this is right, the read mode and the write mode will open.

If the file corresponds to another data source, the query is opened only in red mode. The read mode is represented by a padlock icon near the flange’s title. If you are in advanced level, you can modify the SQL sentence with the aim to carry out the query. You must take into account that the modifications are going to disables the criteria panels (see Limitations or personals order).
