Unit belonging to Documetación Geográfica's service and Library of the IGN is the place where approximately approximately 100.000 documents remain, having an extensive collection of cartographic, national and international funds, both geographical and thematic, emphasizing specially all the leaves published of the M.T.N. 1:50.000 and 1:25.000 in his different editions.
A high percentage of the above mentioned funds, 85 %, corresponds(fits) to modern cartography (later to 1900), whereas 15 remaining % constitutes the historical funds called, previous to the above mentioned date.
The consultations can realize personally, by post, telephone or fax, in schedule of 9:00 h. to 14:00 h., from Monday until Friday.
The possibility of reproduction exists for different systems, determined always to the condition of conservation of the documents.
